1. Although my birthday is in February, I am willing to sacrifice it in order to skip to March because OMG WHAT HOW DO THEY EXPECT US TO WAIT?! (We'll have to wait until after Boxing Day for the timeskip, though, because I'm not jumping over The Hobbit and The Time of the Doctor.)
2. Do you think Mr. Gold enjoyed The Godfather II while cursed? Because that definitely read as 'triumphant kiss of death' and not 'lingering filial affection' to me.
3. It's not really plot relevant, but I wonder if this means that Dr. Wale/Frankenstein has ended up back in Mad Scientist Steampunk Land? And not that we're likely to see the Mad Hatter again any time soon (Sebastian Stan being busy and all) but suddenly which magical land his daughter was born in seems highly relevant ... Oh, and I guess that settles it: Hook is from the Enchanted Forrest originally. And I guess all those Lost Boys are back where they came from, wherever that was.
This show has its flaws, but I never cease to admire its willingness to gleefully toss its status quo out of the window and do something else.

re: Hook, agreed, and btw, that would mean the unethical king whom he served before becoming a pirate was from there as well.

(Sure, Hook is hundreds of years old and his king should be long dead, but when has that ever stopped anybody in the Enchanted Forrest? I imagine villainous kings go in for immortality even more than most people.)
