andrasteI have a number of thoughts about the first few episodes of G.I. Joe: Renegades, which boil down to liking some parts and not liking others. (Amazingly, I hate this version of Duke more than all the others. Since Duke has long possessed the distinction of being one of a bare handful of fictional characters I hate, this is saying something.)
What I am hung up on, though, is this part of Snake Eyes official bio: "this masked mercenary used to show up just for special missions whenever Scarlett called." So, in this universe, Snake Eyes does not work for the army (at least not any more) and has no reason to hang around after SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER other than devotion to Scarlett.
... if the show expects me to 'ship her with Duke, they are really doing it wrong.

Before the show came on, the writers said, "Scarlett and Snake Eyes have a humorous love/hate relationship"
There not going to ship her with Duke, something that should have never happen at all since she has been with Snake Eyes from day one. The episodes we've seen so far has shown both of them caring about each other and we're going to see more of that. So all the Duke and Scarlett fans can go F*** themselves!
