andrasteWell, that was an unexpected direction! I expected them to at least tease the idea that this was Eleven, but unless he has bizarrely selective amnesia that really can't be the case. His (lack of) reaction to seeing Ten is hardly typical of the Doctor's usual behaviour upon meeting a previous incarnation.
It's not a straight rip-off of The One Doctor, either, since the idea there was that the fake Doctor was a con artist who got all the details hilariously wrong. With his TARDIS, sonic screwdriver and random French this Doctor is a lot closer to the real thing. Interested to see how this develops.
Morrisey is splendid already, and he and Tennant should be great together. Roll on Christmas.
