Best Episode Ever!

andrasteWell, given that we're only up to Episode Seven of Transformers: Animated I guess that should be 'best episode so far'.
1. Lockdown! I kind of loved this guy already based on character design and description, and the reality does not disappoint. He's a wonderful villain, and another demonstration of this series' ability to create great characters from scratch. LOVE the whole trophy concept.
2. Backstory and depth of characterisation for Ratchet. *snuggles Ratchet*
3. Arcee! Who has a heartwrenching origin; I really hope they get into this more if and when she reappears in the present. Looking forward to Ratchet's reaction to seeing her again, especially.
4. Blitzwing! Blitzwing! BLITZWING!!! "I want to see inside the firetruck! Can I?" Oh, he and Lockdown should have some fun times torturing Autobots together.
5. A glimpse of Cybertron and the war, however brief. I guess Ultra Magnus has been in charge for a while, huh? It's kind of weird to think of the whole Great War being fought between Magnus and Megatron.
6. Prowl vs. Lockdown. Oh, yeah. I look forward to you two teaching each other new tricks. In NC-17 rated fanfiction.
7. Ratchet's horrified reaction to the autoparts store. I guess it seems like the Autobot equivalent of a public organ bank. Heh.
8. Bumblebee's shopping spree! I wonder how he paid for it - did Sari explain credit cards to the Autobots? Or was the shop owner too freaked out by the robot to demand payment for his fuzzy dice and air freshener?
9. Prime freaking out every human he speaks to. "I believe that something called 'insurance' will take care of this."
10. "Just don't ask me what a possum is." Hilarious as G1 references to turbofoxes and robotopossums are, I thought that was a nice touch.

The only thing that could make this show better would be MORE BLITZWING. Or Starscream. Or ... hell, any 'Cons, really. I hope they find a way to work them into the show more down the track! Even if it was just two minutes of the bad guys plotting/bitching together every episode.

I can't believe that every time I go past a message board, some idiot fanboy is bitching about this version of Prime. He is such fun! And I love it when he tries to be all leaderly and provide mentoring to his troops, including the guy who is millions of years older than him *g*.
