I should not be allowed to read non-fiction books about the mafia, because it leads to yet more wacky crossover ideas.

Seriously, though? Ray Vecchio + Helena Bertinelli = win.

This is probably a bad time to tell you about the Starscream soundtrack I found, which includes Woke Up This Morning, and how this makes me want to write a Transformers/Sopranos crossover, which would would actually work, given that the Decepticons have canonical dealings with human organised crime.

If I knew my Sopranos better (or had a head for business), I would've written this by now. Hell, I just wish I knew how to draw, because the Decepticons running their own robot version of a mob-style titty bar would be an AWESOME image, with energon cubes everywhere, and smoke from turbo-cigars, and an illicit card game going on out the back....

*sigh*

I really need to finish my Megatron/Starscream soundtrack, given that it's been half-finished for ages. However, locating some of the songs I want to use (of both the variety that I own (and have lost), and those I don't) is proving to be a pain. :(

Who can we find to write/draw this for us?

I'm half-tempted to put up a request at one of the TF comms, but, given that I'd want to make sure it was an awesome artist I don't know anyone there, it's difficult.

This crossover has been bugging me for ages, now. I've only seen one-and-a-bit seasons of The Sopranos! Even when I was watching it weekly, I couldn't keep track of who was who! I have the worst head for business ever! D:

The worst thing is, it would work anywhere on the scale from deadly serious to utter crack. (If I wrote it, it would probably be on the cracky side, yeah. Quite possibly it would end with an enormous pile of bodies.)

... mind you, is there any fandom that wouldn't be great to crossover with TF?

Hell, no. Every time I watch or read something, I get the urge to cross it over with TF. Granted I do this with most of my fandoms-of-the-moment, but it's even worse than usual, this time. I'm still plagued by the whole Scrubs/TF crossover thing (although it's leaning more towards a focus on giant-robots-crash-Sacred-Heart than Cox/Ratchet... which is either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on who you are *g*).

She's a Mafia princess turned vigilante with a bad temper and a crossbow. He's an undercover cop with an uncanny resemblance to a mobster and something to prove. Together, they fight organized crime!

YES.

Don't even JOKE about that kind of thing. :p Besides, I'd be too paranoid to write fic at work, whether on the computer or on paper. So paranoid. So very, very paranoid. *uses Red Alert icon to demonstrate gay robot love SHEER UNHOLY PARANOIA*

I had all these plans to read and write while I was house-sitting, but they never worked out. Stupid distracting TF DVDs. *grumble*
