*headdesk*
May. 9th, 2007 12:18 amI should not be allowed to read non-fiction books about the mafia, because it leads to yet more wacky crossover ideas.
Seriously, though? Ray Vecchio + Helena Bertinelli = win.

Date: 2007-05-08 02:36 pm (UTC)If I knew my Sopranos better (or had a head for business), I would've written this by now. Hell, I just wish I knew how to draw, because the Decepticons running their own robot version of a mob-style titty bar would be an AWESOME image, with energon cubes everywhere, and smoke from turbo-cigars, and an illicit card game going on out the back....
*sigh*

Oh, man, that would rock. Who can we find to write/draw this for us? I don't know anything about The Sopranos! Beyond the fact that it has the Mafia and would be great to crossover with Transformers.
... mind you, is there any fandom that wouldn't be great to crossover with TF?
Also, Ray + Helena = YES.
She's a Mafia princess turned vigilante with a bad temper and a crossbow. He's an undercover cop with an uncanny resemblance to a mobster and something to prove. Together, they fight organized crime!

I'm half-tempted to put up a request at one of the TF comms, but, given that
I'd want to make sure it was an awesome artistI don't know anyone there, it's difficult. This crossover has been bugging me for ages, now. I've only seen one-and-a-bit seasons of The Sopranos! Even when I was watching it weekly, I couldn't keep track of who was who! I have the worst head for business ever! D:
The worst thing is, it would work anywhere on the scale from deadly serious to utter crack. (If I wrote it, it would probably be on the cracky side, yeah. Quite possibly it would end with an enormous pile of bodies.)

Hell, no. Every time I watch or read something, I get the urge to cross it over with TF. Granted I do this with most of my fandoms-of-the-moment, but it's even worse than usual, this time. I'm still plagued by the whole Scrubs/TF crossover thing (although it's leaning more towards a focus on giant-robots-crash-Sacred-Heart than Cox/Ratchet... which is either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on who you are *g*).

Dude, stop prodding! I have two thousand words of story!
Most of that is Ray being all 'please point that crossbow somewhere else, I am an undercover cop! Call this Mountie and check!' and Helena being all 'WTF Mountie?' but it's a start ...

Date: 2007-05-17 03:56 pm (UTC)It's all the hours stuck in front of a computer with not many calls (apparently word is getting around that HELLO, WE SUCK) and no internet access *g*. I'm getting a hell of a lot of reading done, too.
So all you really need to motivate you is another crappy call centre job!

Date: 2007-05-09 03:54 am (UTC)I totally am writing it. Not that I promise to finish it in a timely fashion, since it has a plot and stuff, but by the time I came home from work last night I had about two thousand words *g*.
