I'm sorry the world-state doesn't carry over - I like all the little references to things from previous games, even where they mostly don't affect gameplay at all.

Yeah, the changed codex entries and dialogue references were always fun in previous games! I never minded that we didn't get much plot divergence out of it, I just liked the little nods to what my previous characters got up to.

But I do like the idea of making Solas suffer, because honestly, such a jerk.

I think they did a great job of providing ending options for people who went in wanting to defeat him (very much including me!) and people who wanted to redeem him. (I haven't played that ending yet, but the vast majority of people who imported romanced Lavellans seem happy so they seem to have pulled it off.)

In general the Bioware games all have more overt unchallengeable racism than I like, but I think he's the worst of the companions for that sort of thing.

I'm still sorry that there isn't an option for a dwarf or Qunari Inquisitor to respond to the 'you're a credit to your people' speech he gives you at high approval with 'what the hell is wrong with you?'
