I'm sorry the world-state doesn't carry over - I like all the little references to things from previous games, even where they mostly don't affect gameplay at all. But I do like the idea of making Solas suffer, because honestly, such a jerk. In general the Bioware games all have more overt unchallengeable racism than I like, but I think he's the worst of the companions for that sort of thing.
