That was lovely. Hurt!Doctor making fun of his future incarnations was probably my favourite part. Also the Zygons. And the Bad Wolf.

AND ALL OF THE DOCTORS. ALL THIRTEEN OF HIM.

I thought that was a lovely way of including Capaldi - it doesn't overshadow the current or previous leading man or the guest star, but it makes it clear that they were all there.

And I grinned like a loon at the Curator. (Now we get to debate exactly who and what he is for another fifty years!) While I'd have loved to see Davison, Baker (C.), McCoy and McGann I can see that they could only pull that off with one Doctor, and it really had to be Tom.



Now I am off to have a shower and go to breakfast.

Eeeeee~! Many squeaky noises! Hurt!Doctor was such a delightful grump, I'm a little sad we probably won't get any more of him. It's good that there wasn't any real recent DW you needed to have seen to get the special but Clara was super generic as a companion, although I guess that the episode is really not her story arc.

There's a super cute meta episode about the five doctors on the BBC website, I haven't seen most of it but it sounds fun! (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01m3kfy)

(The BBC is totally getting their moneys worth on those waxworks of all the Doctors too. XD)

Whenever you want! I have pants on and everything, and have already taken a nap to recover from only getting four hours sleep last night. (I, uh, may have sat bolt upright at 5:30 this morning going 'IT's DOCTOR WHO DAY!')
