If I were writing it, I'd have all various Masters chasing after some McGuffin that's going to give them eternal life/infinite power/unlimited rice pudding. (Obviously it disrupts the web of time just by existing, which is why all the Masters have shown up on the same day.) Since only one person can use the McGuffin, they end up competing instead of co-operating, each wanting his own incarnation to be the one that gets to last forever. Everyone after Delgado is frustrated by the fact that they can't actually kill any of their earlier selves, lest they destroy their own timeline.
The Doctor(s) show up while this is going on, and would find it hilarious, were it not for the fact that the McGuffin is on a planet covered in innocent bystanders and fluffy kittens ...
