2) The age gap wouldn't bother me, but I imagine it would put him off since I'm younger than some of his students. (Well, probably. Who can tell, with comics time?)
3) Dating any of the X-Men is just not a good idea. Getting constantly kidnapped by supervillains and having all my possessions crushed in the latest disaster to destroy the mansion is not my idea of fun.

2) Based on what happened to Libby, I would fear ending up shoved into the metaphorical fridge :(.
3) Great as Hurley is, I would be worried that I'd end up comparing him to Diego Soto, Jorge Garcia's character from Alcatraz. (Deigo is a historian who owns a comic shop, and thus my ideal man.)

3) He watched Passions with the vampire he kept tied up in his bathtub and disapproves of computers. Much as I love reading, somehow I'm not sure our tastes in entertainment are compatible.

Date: 2012-08-30 03:24 pm (UTC)2) At various times, he travels around with Sarah Jane Smith, Leela and two Romanas. Regardless of whether he has any romantic intentions toward any of them, that's some awfully intimidating competition for his attention.
3) If we broke up, he would be bound to give me a K-9 unit, and I am just not a dog person. Not even robotic tin dogs.

I mean, between the con man, the heroin addict, the married guy, the one with a kid to worry about, the one who thinks the island is trying to save us all, and Jack who would put me to sleep with his boring storyline in about three minutes ... and Sayid may be gorgeous, but he's obviously Bad News. Clearly Hurley would win by default even were he not awesome.
And I should see Alcatraz, shouldn't I?
It's certainly a flawed show, and frustrating since it ends without resolving any of its plot lines. However, I found it worth watching not only for Jorge Garcia but for Sam Neill and Parminder Nagra <3. While all the reviewers seemed to hate Sarah Jones the lead character, I thought she was great. (It kind of felt like Season One of Fringe when everyone was dissing Anna Torv and I couldn't understand what they were complaining about. Alas, since Alcatraz got cancelled I will never know if everyone would have ended up raving about the heroine in the end.)

Well, I suppose I could find some use for him. Or send him to fix a black hole if I couldn't think of a use for a robot dog that knows everything.
