For example, I did not know that it took Eric Roberts a week to realise that the bloke in the wig and velvet coat on the set was the same as the bloke sans wig and velvet coat he kept seeing at at the hotel.
Hee, that's an anecdote that was never told when PMG was in a panel with Yee Jee Tso and Daphne Ashbrook at Chicago TARDIS 09. (Though I did hear the one about how PMG and SMcC whiled away a dull nightshoot while the crew was setting up by teaching Daphne Ashbrook how to speak in different British regional accents. Hilarity ensued.) I can actually sort of believe that. PMG as Eight had quite a voluminous wig and (unfortunately rather too visible in some publicity shots and possibly even some camera angles in the TVM) quite a bit of makeup for shooting scenes. Off screen (from what I can recall from the behind-the-scenes photo that once appeared in Radio Times) he was a rather ordinary-looking chap in shirt, jeans, leather jacket, and almost no hair at all.
Sympathies with your fangirl brainfritz when meeting PMG. I totally understand the symptoms and rationale. Well done indeed!
Apparently those guys who have seen Eric Roberts at D*C (he came to meet the "Heroes" fandom) say he gives great interviews and is generally a nice kind of guy to be around. I hope he can do a Gally sometime.
Dude, I've read the first chapter of said bit of NC-17 apocrypha! (It's posted to the author's website.)
