Date: 2010-12-09 02:13 pm (UTC)It sure is. I have watched the whole TV series (and listened to the parts the BBC set on fire) and this is still only the tip of the iceberg. I am nowhere near through the books, the audios, the comic strips, the Sky Ray ice lolly wrappers ...
Last night, I got part way through answering your 'what should I watch next?' question before I got distracted by something, so: I think the only Doctors you've not seen now are Two and Six? For the second Doctor, I would probably recommend Tomb of the Cybermen if the website has it, and if not you can always watch it at my place. With the Sixth Doctor, I think you are actually better skipping his TV adventures for now - since you're a Hitchiker's Guide fan and familiar with audio drama, I can lend you a couple of those. Colin Baker's Doctor gets to be unimaginably better on radio than he was on TV.

Date: 2010-12-10 01:20 am (UTC)Distracted eh? I am jaloux. My secret source does indeed have Tomb of the Cybermen so I'm watching it now. While I have an urge to watch Trial of a Time Lord to get a feel for the Valeyard (to compare to current goings-on) it's probably not the best place to start if I want to actually *like* the 6th Doctor (considering the whole background production issues and such).
