Doctor Who: The Pandorica Opens

No post on The Lodger for now as I only returned yesterday from the Wilds Where There Is No Broadband. (And will be studying for exams for the next couple of weeks, so don't expect to hear much from me until that's all over with.)

Anyway, no deep thoughts yet from me on this one, but I laughed way more than I should have at River ending up with what seems to be Jack's time manipulator with Jack's wrist attached. Other things that were awesome include the whirlwind tour of the season's guest stars, the Doctor's delayed reaction to Rory's unexpected resurrection, and everyone cantering about on horses.

I predicted the contents of the Pandorica as soon as the Doctor described them, but I was expecting some version of him to come out at the end rather than his being put in. The Nestene Romans were also a nice surprise, and I greatly enjoyed the great assemblage of past aliens. Except they did not name-check the Ice Warriors :-(. Where are my Martians, Steven?

All in all: fingers crossed they can keep up the good work next week. I can't believe the season is over already!
