On Tuesday, someone from my real estate agency is coming to inspect my flat. (For the second time in two months, for some bizarre reason. I guess they're making up for not doing any inspections for the first five years of my tenancy?) I'm going to visit my family that day, so I probably won't be here when they arrive.

On the down side, their tendency to fall over mirrors the flat's need for ongoing maintenance. (On the other hand, maybe I should have gone with JLU for that reason - it might have been easier to explain how the bathroom basin is in danger of falling down with a visual aid...)

Indeed - actual real life horses scare me a bit up close, although I think they're very beautiful to watch.

Ultimately Doctor Who won the poll, so the estate agent was greeted by a waving Davros. I'm not sure she actually noticed - maybe they see so many weird things in people's houses during inspections they get used to tuning it all out.
