I have mainly given up ficathons, as I suck at getting anything written lately, but nothing will deter me from paticipation in
yuletide. I've been participating since 2004 and I'm not going to quit now. I have no idea what I'm going to request, so I nominated things I will offer to write:
Baldur's Gate universe
Added lots of characters to the listing. Cannot believe they did not have Xan!
Mike Carey - Felix Castor series
OK, so I haven't actually finished reading all of them yet, but what I've read so far is brilliant and I wanted to make sure they were available. I <3 Mike Carey more all the time.
The Mrs. Bradley Mysteries
TV series, I've not read the books. Mrs. Bradley/George for the win.
The Mysterious Cities of Gold
I think I will just keep asking for this until someone writes it. Possibly for Yuletide 2050.
PS238
I am now all caught up on the source, which gets cuter, funnier and cleverer with each volume.
Wolverine and the X-Men
As it's the latest version of a very popular source text, I am reconciled to the fact that this may not make the cut. But I'm really liking this take on Marvel's merry mutants, so I had to at least try to get it in. Only seven episodes have screened to date, so I hope it's new enough to count.
I figured that The Middleman would safely get nomiated with out me; there are half a dozen more things I'll offer to write if they make it through the cut.

Date: 2008-10-24 01:25 am (UTC)You never know when an evil mastermind might try to remove an awesome small fandom from Yuletide!
And Wolverine and the X-Men is very, very cute.
I have the two most recent episodes waiting for me at home. I hope we get to see more of Future!Charles soon.

Date: 2008-10-24 01:29 am (UTC)Someone has expanded the character listing since I added it to the list, so there seem to be several people interested.
And Wolverine and the X-Men should make it in, surely, if 1602 does?
That will be my argument if it comes up, but I've suggested the '90s X-Men animated series without success, and that has no fic. (Well, one fic. That I wrote.)

Date: 2008-10-24 01:33 am (UTC)Yuletide is special! I didn't participate the first year, back when Farscape and such were eligable, but I've been playing ever since. It's certainly a challenge, but where else could you find most of these fandoms?
