Dragon Age: Worth A Thousand Words
Nov. 13th, 2009 10:58 pmSo, there I am in the Deep Roads under the dwarf city. My group have just beat up a Reaver, and anyone who has fought one of those will not be surprised to hear that we were low on potions as a result. I'm just having a look around before moving on to the next area when my rogue walks around the corner ... and sees an Ogre pounding toward her. Not just any Ogre, either, but an orange Ogre Elite. (To paraphrase Alistair: orange ... is bad.)
I swear, volubly, and my worst fears are rapidly proved correct. I have Oghren with me just for this quest and I don't really know how to use him; Wynne gets crushed by a giant rock and can't heal us. That leaves just me and Alistair, and for whatever reason the Ogre is bloody-minded and keeps coming after the PC instead of the nice, shiny tank. Since it insists on engaging in melee, my rogue grabs out her daggers and resigns herself to slicing away.
Then this happens ...
( Picture below cut; not very dial-up friendly. )
