Even without that, I found having David Marciano in the episode very distracting. I spent all his scenes thinking 'it is Ray! Hooray for Ray!' and giggled helplessly when his character ( more spoilers ). Surely that had to be a due South shout-out?
In other news, James Earl Jones was brilliant in this episode.
