There's a fanfic out there in which Danny does that and has the misfortune of running into the Punisher. Naturally, it takes Frank Castle all of two seconds to figure out this isn't the Daredevil he's used to, and it's up to Jessica to save Danny's life and explain. The reason why I haven't linked this otherwise very entertaining and well written story on my journal is the ending. Because after The Defenders made a point (via Luke and his initial disagreement with Danny, but also via Jessica's client the architect's widow) of showing how many unfortunate people get exploited or tricked into working for the Hand, I really can't see Danny and Jessica being fine with Frank deciding to kill all remaining leftovers of The Hand in NYC.

Jessica and Matt about pretend vs real alcoholism: I would love to read that! As I would love to read any stories where the two of them fight crime as a lawyer and detective while commenting on each other's dysfunctions. (Special issue: Stick vs. Trish's mother.) Or, well, anything - I really liked their interaction on the show.
