I sort of wish they'd gone with Gabrielle Haller instead of Moira. Gabi certainly has a history with a young Charles and Erik and it's a little less of a stretch to have her as an operator. But it wasn't even a venal sin.
The movie was fabulously slashy -- you must have been in clover -- and I think I had a grin on my face for at least the first half. And good lord, that was a lovely Erik.
