I have the original release of Waspinator, and I think it's a pretty good figure. I don't have many Beast Wars era figures, but of those I have, that's a favorite.

I know I have Optimus Primal in a box somewhere, but I haven't located it for several years. I should look again this way I can put all my transformers in a same place so nothing gets lost! Grr!

I think that technically makes him a Waspitor *g*. I am very much looking forward to the DVD, as it will mean I can watch Possession over and over and over again.

So did you find out if it's the Japanese episode yet? I hear that BW!Megatron screams like a little girl in the Japanese dub *g*.

I had totally forgotten about the DVD (again), so as soon as your comment came through, I went and watched it. For some reason, it had Power Surge on it. Which is totally what you expect on a Waspitor DVD!

Gotta say, of all the characters on there, Terrorsaur had by far the best Japanese voice. I'm kind of in love with it. The others were kind of meh -- not terrible, but lacking in the features that really makes the individual characters stand out in the English version. On the other hand, Terrorsaur got most of the dialogue (and I fast-forwarded a few bits), so I didn't get to see a huge amount of the others. Rattrap's voice is pretty amusing, and I love their internal computers' voices.

I only wish it'd been an ep with Airrazor, so I could've seen male!breasted!Airrazor making sappy eyes at Tigatron.
