Onwards and Upwards

So, after I've had a few days to process Call of the Wild, I have no doubt that my attention will turn to finding a shiny new TV show to love. I have the first instalment of The Aunt's West Wing DVDs here which I could watch. Alternatively, I've *ahem*ed the whole first season of Heroes but haven't watched any of it yet.

I really think you'll like Heroes; you should watch it for that, and not just for the danger of being thrown out of fandom *g*.

Heroes is lots of fun! I keep trying to watch The West Wing but then I just get angry at the current US administration and foam at the mouth, and have to switch it off.

Heroes is good fun; I don't think it's the most brilliant thing ever, but it's an entertaining enough watch. Especially when you know your comics well enough to pick out all the stuff they've ripped off paid homage to.

I can never remember -- you're watching Life on Mars, right?

Also, if you feel like aheming, I recommend Dexter. I've still only seen the first ep, but it is made of love.

I think you should watch them both, honestly, but if you have to pick one go for Heroes. Partly because I adore it, partly because you're a superhero fan, and partly because it has an intriguing older generation.
