Transformers: A Bridge Too Close
Too ... much ... awesome. Brain ... failing ...!
I know there was a bunch of plot stuff going on in this episode - Sari is finally clued in to her true nature! Bulkhead is a secret space bridge savant! Ratchet resurrects his boyfriend only to lose him again! But mostly I was distracted by the half a dozen Starscreams.
They all amused the hell out of me, especially Sunstorm (yellow sycophant Starscream) and Ramjet (white pathological liar Starscream). Most of all, though, I liked Femme!Starscream. Fandom has been inventing female Seekers for decades, and it's a solid concept when removed from its Mary Sue roots. Rumour has it that her name is Skydancer, which kind of makes her sound like a My Little Pony, but I can live with it *g*. (Obviously she'll have to get an official name when they release the toy, even though they didn't give her one on screen yet.) I am thrilled that she was the one who got Starscream's brains. More about Skydancer, please.
Also, I actually screamed at the computer when I saw that stupid YTV had some moron babbling over the end credits, thus making us all miss most of the final argument between Megatron and Starscream's floating severed head. Yargh!
