Oh, Owen. Oh, Toshiko. Oh, show. My heart is in approximately eleventy billion pieces right now. Does anyone have any glue?
The plotting for this episode was haphazard in places, but the character stuff made up for it, and the end result was devastating. I was prepared for them to kill one character, and had figured that Owen and Tosh were the most likely candidates, but I never, ever expected them to kill both. Waaaaah!
I am looking forward to next season enormously; on the basis of the remarkable improvement over last year I can't imagine the BBC not renewing the series. As for replacing the fallen, people are already predicting that Martha may replace Owen, which I would highly approve of. I guess that means they need an all-new computer geek.

I had guessed that they were going to kill Rhys, so was well wide of the mark. Of course, it's not beyond the bounds of possibility that Owen will somehow survive, since we didn't actually witnewss his death (or whatever the word is when the character is already a zombie).
