Trope Bingo

So, given that I am writing pretty consistently of late, I decided it would be a good idea to go get some prompts! Trope Bingo are currently handing out cards.

accidental marriage snowed in au: all-human mind control time travel
au: steampunk fusion rivals to lovers fake relationship genderswap
presumed dead alpha / beta / omega FREE

SPACE
sharing a bed au: space
immortality / reincarnation au: were / vamp / supernatural kidfic slavefic au: circus
locked in truth or dare au: apocalypse handcuffed/bound together telepathy / mindmeld

There are a lot of possibilities for lines there, and only a couple of things I don't think I could write easily.

accidental marriage: On the one hand, this would be an obvious one for Londo and G'Kar. As ambassadors, they frequently participate in alien ceremonies they may not have researched properly, and everyone apart from them would find it completely hilarious. On the other, I have long had vague plans to use this as part of that Doctor Who cliche fic that I haven't finished. Hmmmmm. I guess there's no rule against writing the same trope twice, even if only one of them counts for the purposes of bingo.

snowed in: I love this trope! However, nothing very specific occurs to me. I have a lot of fandoms where there is no easy access to snow, and some others where this has been written nine million times. (I mean, does the world really require another due South story where some combination of Ray, Ray and Fraser get trapped by snow?)

au: all-human: I admit, I have never been into in this trope. It's always seemed to me to be a way of taking an interesting setting and sucking all the fun out of it. I guess I could come up with something if I had to, though.

mind control: Yes, I think I could probably write this. Again. *looks sideways at Charles*

time travel: On the one hand, this would be a great excuse to write the X-Men movieverse time travel story that lives in my brain. On the other, that story is long and has a complicated plot, which is why I haven't already written it. Also, canon is going there anyway. (Albeit probably not with as much ill-advised making out between past and future mutants as my story would have.)

au: steampunk: Oh, man, I want to write ALL THE THINGS for this one. (One of the things I do when I am not on the internet is steampunk LARPing, so I have plenty of inspiration.) I mean, is there any fandom that could not be improved by the adition of superfluous gears? On the one hand, X-Men would be a great fit given how important the idea of evolution was to the development of the Victorian psyche. On the other hand, imagine Fringe with a steampunk sensibility. Or Dragon Age. Or Babylon 5. (No, I don't know how that would work either, but wouldn't G'Kar look splendid in a top hat?)

fusion: Possibly I should do something with that Farscape/Blake's 7 idea that I was talking about with Alara a mere, um, nine years ago. Or alternatively: X-Men: First Class meets Tiger & Bunny.

rivals to lovers: You could stick a pin in the non-gen parts of my AO3 page (um, metaphorically, since it would otherwise harm your monitor) and have an excellent chance of finding this trope or its reverse. I should probably make it more challenging by writing a pairing I haven't done before ...

fake relationship: I am very tempted to use that Alias idea Selena and I talked over where Sloane and Sydney have to go undercover in an S&M club for this *g*. Could work with any number of pairings I like, though.

genderswap: I really should write the third part of that Babylon 5 series, especially since I did eventually realise what Londo should be doing in the universe where he's a woman. (And then kicked myself, because it's blindingly obvious.)

presumed dead: *looks sideways at Charles some more* Actually, this kind of thing happens to many characters I love. Especially if you add the 'presumed' part for people like Blake and Crais.

alpha / beta / omega: Um. See, the thing with this trope is, I would probably end up writing about a universe where Magneto is an omega terrorist who wants to end alpha opression by blowing up all their stuff, and Charles thinks they can gain their freedom without killing people over it. Nobody would get anybody pregnant. I am not sure this would be in the spirit of the trope. (I'm also not sure I'd care, because I think the trope is ridiculous. Which is fine, because many of my favourite kinks are also objectively ridiculous and Your Kink Is Not My Kink And That's OK. But it probably means I shouldn't be writing about it. I probably should have opted out of this one.)

FREE SPACE: So many choices! Accidental baby acquisition, amnesia, strip poker, road trip, sex pollen ... well, I doubt I'd have trouble filling this square even if I scratch all the ones I wrote already. (Such as bodyswap and au: daemon.)

sharing a bed: Another classic that I'm very fond of without having anything very specific in mind.

au: space: Everything is better in space! Things that could go to space include: Alias, Dragon Age, Fringe, Ghostbusters, Merlin, Once Upon a Time. Or really anything else that is not In Space already.

immortality / reincarnation: This is kind of made for Merlin, but then, I've always wanted to do something with the end of Torchwood: Miracle Day ...

au: were / vamp / supernatural: Not as instantly appealing to me as In Space, but there are certainly many possibilities. I mean, Sloane would make such a great master vampire ...

kidfic: I have some vague ideas about this, but I think I'll have to look up the definition they're using to see if they count. (This could totally be an excuse to write that B5 MPREG story I've always meant to write. Which, for a change, has nothing to do with G'Kar. Or Londo, for that matter.)

slavefic: Hmmmm. Not one I've ever written, but I could probably come up with something.

au: circus: My reaction to this square was 'is this even a thing?' but I guess it must be in some fandom somewhere. I have no idea what I'd do with this.

locked in: Sort of the same thing as snowed in only with less huddling together for warmth but more geographical flexibility! I've only writte this thirteen times already. (Not an exaggeration; I actually went and counted.)

truth or dare: Hmmmmmm. Selena already wrote the Londo and G'Kar version of this, and I'm not sure there's much point playing truth or dare with a telepath or the Doctor. (Although I guess that could be what the story is about.) Many of my other favourite characters wouldn't see the fun in the game, but I'm sure something will occur to me if I think hard enough.

au: apocalypse: Wheeeeeee, Apocalypses! This works for any fandom, ever. Even the ones that have had an apocalypse already could always have another one ... Really, the only problem here is that I'm spoiled for choice.

handcuffed/bound together: Speaking of stuff I have written a time or two already ...

telepathy / mindmeld: I don't think writing about Charles really counts for this one. Although I did write something like this for that same Doctor Who cliche fic and then never posted it, so I could do something with that.

If anyone has any opinion on which of these things would be more fun to read about than the others, or which other fandoms the tropes could go with, please do speak up. I have no idea where to start!
