Not only did Neil Gaiman win the Hugo for The Doctor's Wife, he's writing another episode.

*runs around room making high pitched squeaking noises*

I really, really hope this is for Season Eight so we get it next year for the anniversary.

That's excellent news. Just a few weeks ago Neil Gaiman was blogging that, while he'd love to write another episode, he wasn't sure if he would be able to fit it in with his other commitments. So I'm glad that he;s succumbed to temptation. :)

Yeah, I saw that post too. Either he wrote the first two drafts really quickly or he was lying to throw us off *g*. I am sure it's going to be great!
