Writing Prompts?

So, this year I am planning to write for both Yuletide and NaNoWriMo, although I'll probably aim for a lower word count than the traditional NaNo goal. It's been so long since I've written anything that I feel the need for a warm-up before I start.

However, it's also been so long since I've written anything than I've lost the thread of all my WIPs and I don't know what I want to write about. Since the internet is never short on people with ideas about what I should write, though, I appeal to you!

Babylon 5 - I think we all know what my strengths are in this fandom by now.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold - I have no idea what it would be about, but wacky DC adventures for the win!

Doctor Who - classic, new, spin-offs, books, comics, audio ... the universe is your oyster.

Dragon Age - never written before, but I've been obsessed for almost a year now so it's about time.

Fringe - never written before, I but I guess I could take a stab.

Merlin - never written before, but I'm willing to give it a try.

Transformers - most versions.

X-Men - most versions, but I've never watched all of Evolution and my grasp of recent comics canon is weak.

Obviously those are not all the fandoms I'm familiar with, but those are the ones where I am up-to-date with canon and could write something without having to extensively review material which I may or may not have to hand. I make no promises, but throw some ideas at me and we'll see if anything happens.

Merlin could be fun. And your story would almost certainluy hang together much better than most of the TV series' scripts. :)

Seconding the Merlin request. Maybe you should follow up on that idea of revealing Geoffrey as the Meddling Monk?
