Heroes 1x02: Don't Look Back
Eeek!
OMG there is a serial killer that eats their brains! This is the reason I avoid spoilers - I'd heard the name 'Sylar' around the place and knew that he was a bad guy, but Isaac's messy death was still a big surprise.
... well, you know, I assume he eats the brains. I think this is actually less disturbing than the idea that he's keeping them in jars somewhere. Sylar must have some swoober powers to have frozen that guy and nailed that woman to the wall like that.
This was certainly a bad day for our heroes getting arrested. It's great to see Greg Grunberg again, and I had instant empathy with poor Matt. Telepathy would be a really useful ability for a wannabe detective if he could just explain to everyone that he had it.
Also loved that Hiro's reaction to the police asking him how he got to New York was the unvarnished truth *g*. Maybe when he goes back - and obviously he'll have to, because otherwise Isaac will be dead and New York exploded - he should take Ando with him for English speaking ability and common sense.
Meanwhile, the Petrelli family gets more complicated by the episode and oh noes, Claire's dad is evil!

:-)
Meanwhile, the Petrelli family gets more complicated by the episode
they just get more and more twisted, believe me.

As for your last sentence, all I can say is that you have such delights to come! I love this series despite Sylar.

Matt is a wonderful centre of sanity in the show, and Greg Grundberg is fabulous. It's always great to see unglamourous telepathy.

Yeah, poor Matt. He just wants to be a good cop, and this ability that should make that easier...really doesn't.
Also loved that Hiro's reaction to the police asking him how he got to New York was the unvarnished truth *g*.
Hiro's ability to keep his mouth shut, or for that matter even his voice down, is...not so much an ability. It's kind of charming, unless you happen to be standing next to him. *g*
Meanwhile, the Petrelli family gets more complicated by the episode
And this is only two episodes in. You may want to start taking notes, now. (Actually, everything in Heroes is complicated. But the Petrellis probably do win the award.)
and oh noes, Claire's dad is evil!
Poor Claire. Invulnerability's another one of those powers that really should make your life easier, and yet. (Of course, she'd have been dead by now if she didn't have it, so it evens out.) Mr. Bennet's a great character, though.

Life never seems to be easy for Greg Grunberg characters. At least he hasn't been eaten by an invisible monsters yet?

I am particularly charmed by the fact that he keeps ringing Isaac and explaining the situation to him in Japanese. Oh, Hiro.

So I am gathering after four episodes. The twists are already making me dizzy less than a quarter into the season.

Several times! That girl is terribly accident prone, although I guess being invulnerable makes you careless about these things.
Mr. Bennet's a great character, though.
So I have observed. I love the way he can be genuinely affectionate and fatherly with Claire the one moment, and incredibly creepy the next.

2. I am so not saying anything about Claire's dad. Not a thing.

So I have gathered from watching a couple more episodes!

I know a little more now, but it only makes me eager to learn more.

Petrellis: you ain't seen nothing yet. (Why, of course most of my Heroes fanfic stars them.)
Claire's dad: what
Hiro and Ando: I'm still not saying anything.

Too few girls, as always, and they are too often in distress. *sigh*
