Seriously, though, if Thunderbolts is publicly announced next week along with a casting call for Moonstone, I will know Kevin Feige has been reading my diary. I cannot believe that, in the space of a single year, the MCU is going to give me Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel AND
... Patrick Stewart playing Professor X again! I saw this coming (I haven't managed to see No Way Home yet, but I know who appears in it if nothing about what actually happens) but it's still nice to have it confirmed. I think that 'every single Marvel thing we've ever filmed and/or published happened somewhere, just in the next universe over' is a good approach.
I am very curious about how they're going to handle this apparent multiverse version of the Illuminati! Are we going to see Ioan Gruffurd!Mr. Fantastic? Anson Mount back as some version of Black Bolt? Bring in an alt-universe Iron Man??? I don't think they'll make this Namor's screen debut, but it's not like there aren't other characters they can use ...
Meanwhile, please join me in boggling at the one dude on reddit I saw insisting that was not Patrick Stewart and there's no way Marvel could get him back because he's over eighty now. I ... do not know where to start. And I don't expect everyone to be able to identify him from the tiny slice of his head that we saw*, but surely everyone knows what the Sir Patrick Stewart sounds like???
*(I mean, I probably could, even without the voice. But then, I once got in an argument with someone who didn't think he was the person in the bed at the end of X3. We could see most of his torso there, how could they not know who it belonged to?
