It is so weird watching a Trek show in real time! I got into it too late to do this with any of the others - when I watched them I always knew the basics of when characters joined or left if not the plot specifics. It is sort of thrilling and horrifying to think that Discovery could for-real kill characters and I will not know about it beforehand.

(I mean, I guess it already did, but it was obvious that Lorca had to go from the main cast once he'd been revealed as a villain so it wasn't a huge surprise, and while we still don't know what's up with Culber he does not seem to actually be gone.)
