I would probably have been in a better position to appreciate the fun if I hadn't spent so much time freaking out. I, uh, do not handle body horror well, and the end product becoming cute baby aliens somehow just made it worse. I was actually relieved when Nanny hit the pavement, because I had become convinced that the babies were going to eat her. *shudder*
However, in the parts of the episode I could stand to watch, Donna and the Doctor definitely seemed to be having good chemistry--I appreciated not only her cheerful romantic uninterest, but her willingness to be sharp with him about what he did last time. Someone who will call Ten on his tendencies to ruthlessness ought to do him no end of good. Oh, and that moment where Donna brought out the second pendant was perfect.
