I like that you seem to be raising the question again of whether the DS ghosts are actual ghosts or imagination; is Fraser blaming Ray or just pointing out Ray is blaming himself, and if the former, is that a Fraser thing to do? DS is probably best on that line between fantasy and reality. And you made the transition to dead!Fraser very well -- until he disappeared I had no clue, and was a little thrown off by the little seemed that seemed out of place (Why would Fraser suggest he would have to walk? Is it just so she could write him be quaint and saying 'That's just silly, Ray'? -- I'm glad you proved my faith in you right.) and by the end, the feel of it and Ray's thoughts and Dief, the idea of ghost Fraser seems somehow entirely organic to the show.
